Event Details: Astra Theatre is hosting the Sister Act – the musical. This well-known 1992 American blockbuster turned into a hit musical. This musical comedy is about a disco diva Deloris Van Cartier who witnessed a murder! To make sure she won’t be found, she was put into protective custody in a convent where the cops sure she is safe. Disguised as a nun and with her unique talent in dancing and singing, she breathes new life into the church and community choir. As a result, she blows her cover and the gang started to chase her.

This musical is a truly moving story, filled with powerful gospel music and powerful dancing!

Aida will be marking the opening of the postponed 2020-21 theatre seasons in Gozo! Aida is the opera known by who doesn’t know opera at all. It features a larger-than-life story in an exotic world.
