Once you arrive in Gozo you will find that Gozo has a various kinds of transportation leading to your destination especially to the beaches. The hop-on-and off bus runs around the island. The bus with the open top begins at Mgarr, the harbour, and has stops along the route. Public buses are available; tickets may be bought right on the bus. Taxis are accessible in Gozo and are located close to the ferry terminal, or hire a car if you are staying longer then a day. Gozo is ideal for a walking holiday as it is an easy way to travel around the island as the villages are situated close together and connected by a system of paths.
